Alex Smith is an award-winning garden designer with a unique combination of artistic talent, horticultural knowledge, and installation skills. His designs - whether traditional or contemporary, formal, or informal - are creative expressions of the possibilities and requirements of each garden.

Alex Smith Garden Designs Ltd. represents the lessons and inspirations Alex has gained from his work with leading garden designers and horticulturists, his travels, and his academic and artistic studies.

• Graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta with a degree in Landscape Design
• Manager and senior associate designer with Ryan Gainey and Company of
  Atlanta, creating and perpetuating gardens from East Hampton, New York, to Ponte Vedra, Florida, and throughout the Southeast.
• Two summers working in the Cotswalds of England with noted garden designer and writer Rosemary Verey
